High-conductivity flexible Ag films formed by low-temperature and short-time sintering of PVP-modified silver oxalate composite ink

Abstract Attaining low-temperature sintering and high electrical conductivity is vital in the field of flexible electronics. Inks with silver oxalate as precursor have recently received significant attention this field; however, temperature long time limit commercial applicability. High can shorten but lead to porous uneven film morphology; thus, reducing conductivity. On other hand, low prolongs time; production efficiency. To solve abovementioned problems, a composite conductive ink modified by polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) was prepared study. The used precursor, methanol acetone solvent, 1, 2-diaminopropane complexing agent, could reduce 160 °C 20 min, respectively. After sintering, showed good conductivity, resistivity (4.56 μ Ω·cm). Furthermore, impact on surface morphology were also studied, results that PVP had positive influence nucleation microstructure sintered film.
